Pre-Diabetes Education Class

March 21, 2013 - Glendive Medical Center will be offering a Pre-Diabetes Education Class on Thursday, March 21 from 4 - 6 p.m. in the Carney Center, Room 2. This class is free to anyone interested.

Inquiries can stop by the GMC booth at the Dawson County Health Fair to ask questions, or register for the class. The class will share strategies for making healthy lifestyle changes with diet and physical activity to delay or prevent the development of Type 2 Diabetes. Pre-diabetes is defined as a fasting blood glucose of 100-125 mg/dl (as referred to in your health fair labs) or an A1c of 5.7-6.4% (according to the test performed at the lab, which isn't included in the health fair reports).
