GMC Board Begins Interim CEO Search

Glendive, Montana, January 18, 2013 - The Glendive Medical Center (GMC) Board of Directors has begun the search for an interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO). An interim search committee comprised of board members and administrative staff met last week. "The first step in the overall search process is to establish a set of talent characteristics and experience for an interim CEO. These skills will be used to identify potential candidates for interview," Laura Gluekert, Board Vice Chair and Committee Chair commented.

Glueckert explained interested candidates will be asked to provide a cover letter and resume. Then, qualified candidates will be invited to interview with committee members. "We're pleased with the process and look forward to identifying and interviewing candidates soon," Glueckert added.

GMC has already received a few resumes, and interested candidates can apply by contacting the Human Resource Department at (406) 345-8916. The interim search process is anticipated to be completed in 4 to 6 weeks. Additional updates will be shared as information is available.
