Community Benefit Reports

Glendive Medical Center (GMC) provides numerous programs and services that make a difference in the lives of the individuals and families who make up our communities. Fulfilling our Mission, and as your community hospital, we treat everyone the same, regardless of their ability to pay. We create and participate in various outreach programs, support groups, and services designed to help everyone, even those who may never be GMC patients. This is part of our commitment to caring, healing, and a healthier community.

Each spring, GMC releases our Annual Community Benefit Report. The Community Benefit Report highlights GMC's activities and performance in improving access to high-quality health care. It includes contributions to the community in the areas of direct patient care, community-based health programs and services, and education. In 2010, GMC provided more than $2.8 million in charity care, subsidized health services, Medicare and Medicaid shortfalls, health professions education, community health and education, projects and donations.
