GMC ANNOUNCES EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER

August 25, 2011

Glendive Medical Center (GMC) is pleased to announce that Randi Stockwell, a nurse in Acute Care, has been recognized by her co-workers and named Employee of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2011.

Randi has been a nurse at GMC for 9 years, where she has displayed the upmost compassion for all patients and staff that she supervises. She continues to be attentive to learning new skills and acquiring advanced certifications such as becoming both a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE). Randi has also volunteered to teach advanced courses such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and a Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). As a supervisor, Randi is willing to assume personal accountability, accept change and maintains the desire to learn and develop her critical thinking skills.

Additionally, Randi is a member of the Emergency Department Construction Committee and actively participates in planning events to reward and recognize staff. She embraces GMC's core values of respect, integrity, compassion and excellence. She does not hesitate to go the extra mile in making sure that the patients and their families not only have quality care but a gracious and caring atmosphere where they feel safe and welcome to verbalize their needs. "It is truly an honor to be recognized by my peers, and I feel lucky to be able to work with such a compassionate and competent group of people," Randi said.
