Hospice Volunteers

Hospice volunteers play a unique and important role at GMC and in the lives of those terminally ill in our community. The direct and intimate connection with patients, families, and staff that this volunteer calling entails, requires unique and special training. Many who serve in this form of volunteerism see their role as a calling or type of ministry. Due to the unique requirements and demands that Hospice places on our volunteers, GMC provides additional required training and ongoing development for you if you join us in this role.

A completed application, initial interview, background check and Hospice orientation are required prior to beginning volunteering in this capacity at Glendive Medical Center.
