GMC WILL BEGIN USING IMPROVED MRI

Glendive, Montana, October 25, 2011

Glendive Medical Center (GMC) announced that Imaging Services will begin using an Eight Channel Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit on Monday, October 31. "This newer mobile MRI system will first and foremost give us significantly improved image quality. The second significant feature is that this MRI will allow us to expand the range of studies we can perform at GMC. The last feature is that this MRI will decrease the acquisition time," Kevin Maxwell, MD, Radiologist said.
