More About Richard

Richard A. Wells, DO, Family Medicine joined GMC in July of 2011. "I'm looking forward to serving patients from the community," Dr. Wells commented.

Dr. Wells earned his medical degree from the Western University in Osteopathic Medical Training, and completed his residency in Family Medicine at St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. He received specialized training as a rural physician at Greenbrier Valley Hospital in Ronceverte, West Virginia, and participated in two internships―one at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and an Osteopathic internship at Pacific Hospital in Long Beach, California.

Since beginning practice in 2001, he has been in private practice and most recently served as a locum tenens physician in Gallup, New Mexico. He enjoys providing a full range of Family Medicine services.
