Sarah Gubbels, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), offers therapy on various issues such as grief, depression and anxiety and specializes in working with adolescents. "I am looking forward to building good relationships with my patients and helping them change their lives for the better," Gubbels said.
Gubbels has both a bachelor's of science and master's degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota. She earned her master's degree in 2009. In 2010, Gubbels became certified in Animal-Assisted Therapy, Activities and Learning at the University of Denver. Before moving to Glendive, Gubbels implemented an animal-assisted therapy program at Home on the Range in North Dakota, where she worked as a therapist for over three years. "My patients have taught me more than I've ever taught them. The resiliency of people to move forward in their lives encourages me," she added.
