GMC PUBLICATIONS WIN SILVER ASTER AWARDS


Glendive, Montana, June 1, 2012 - Glendive Medical Center (GMC) has been recognized among the nation's most elite health care marketing professionals in the 2012 Aster Awards Competition for two of its publications. The Aster Awards Competition is one of the largest national competitions of its kind, hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine and Creative Images, Inc. This elite program recognizes outstanding health care professionals for excellence in their advertising/marketing efforts for the calendar year of 2011.

GMC received two awards for publications. GMC's October 2011 Inner Workings publication received a Silver Award, meaning it scored in the top 12% in the nation. The GMC Hospice/Home Care Open House poster also received a Silver Award. GMC competed with hospitals that are 75 beds and under.

The 2012 Aster Awards received approximately 3,000 entries from across the United States, as well as entries from Canada and South America. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.
