Ways to Give

Annual funds and Endowment funds exist for both the hospital as a whole, and for the Hospice program at GMC.

Annual Fund

Gifts to the Foundation's Annual Fund meet the immediate needs of the hospital. Unless otherwise designated by the donor, these gifts (both principal and interest) are directed by the GMC Administrative Council and the Foundation Board of Directors to assist with current capital requests from throughout the Medical Center.

Some recent items provided by the Annual Fund have been six new baby bassinettes for our maternity area, a whirlpool tub and lift for our extended care nursing home, bariatric furniture for our acute care patient rooms, and a Wanderguard system to keep our elderly residents safe from elopement.

Endowment Fund

The Foundation's Endowment will ensure a brighter future for Glendive Medical Center. Our dream is to one day be able to annually purchase all necessary equipment to keep the hospital equipped with cutting-edge technology and furnishings for patient comfort and safety.

While the principal is invested and kept in perpetuity, only the interest from Endowment Fund gifts is used for Medical Center support.
